I am a freelance writer, film critic, and teacher. A list of some of my publications can be seen below.

I have a master’s degree in film & media studies from Southern Illinois University, and have presented research at several academic conferences, including those held by the SouthWest Conference on Asian Studies (SWCAS), Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication (AEJMC), Global Fusion, and the Southwest Popular/American Culture Association (SWPACA). I have also served as a peer reviewer for the Journal of the Southwest Conference on Asian Studies and Academia Letters.
